Photophore Synth- Wow What a Hidden Gem
Guys just went back to this Gem, loaded it up in AUM, played back with some Groovebox beats and got my inspiration flowing!
I can’t believe how awesome sounds i keep coming up with this amazing synth!
I had it shelved for so long while i spent time with the other name brand synths😳
I got it for .99 cents last year and put it away for one of those days like today😇🤩
But i’m so glad i dusted this beautiful synth off this morning and boy, am i glad i did.
Creating presets after presets just by going to the voice tab and the flock tab!
Recreated some of my favorite Cakewalk ZT3A+ presets and that’s what won my heart right away!
Just left a 5 star review on the AppStore.
Hopefully the dev makes it AUv3 but even with IOS 13.2.2 this synth works to perfection! That’s how rock solid it is😌❤️❤️❤️
This one is a keeper😌❤️👍🏼🙏☝️🎹

I bought it thinking it wasn’t Phase84. It’s great. Retronyms Phase84 it a beast too.
No regrets on either.
Bought. No regrets at all. Sound great.
I remember buying this when it came out and being quite disappointed that despite the name it does not use the camera at all for anything useful whatsoever. I imagined it looked for motion above the screen to manipulate parameters. Nothing of the sort. Nothing to do with light, vision, optics, camera or anything like that.
Hmph. I’m still not over it.
But you can emulate a swarm of bugs buzzing around a light.
Maybe that is the ‘light’ reference you are looking for?
