Anyone know where to get some quality presets for Pure Acid?
Learn to tweak it?!
It's a relatively simple synth with a built-in sequencer...
Here is one.. Dance With Me.. Blake FlS..
Did not know you can export all pattern clips (Song Mode) as MiDi… pretty nice.. in Stand alone..
Having a head scratcher moment with Pure Acid auv3 in Cubasis 3.7:
When I write notes on the timeline I only get the bass module to play.
Changing MIDI input in Cubasis to the channel I've set for Pure Acid's drums channel in the standalone app doesn't switch to drums, only bass module plays.
Any advice on this one would be greatly appreciated. TIA!
I didn't know you can change the midi channel at all, but channel 10 works for me for drums (in loopy pro, didn't try cubasis).
Just installed both Cubasis 3 and NS2 on my iPhone to try with Pure Acid.
Same result: any MIDI channel I choose, only the bass module plays.
Any chance you can try in Cubasis? Or am I doing something wrong?
It should be as straightforward as selecting the corresponding MIDI in channel, and it should work, right?
Sorry, I own cubasis, but I don't have it installed and permanently operate on the storage limit of my 64gb iPad. Are you sure, you're sending the midi on the right channel? I guess you would need a second miditrack (apart from the one pure acid is on) and set that to send on channel 10, because the track itself only addresses the synth. Is that, what you were doing?
Thanks, got it sorted out:
Issue was I wasn't using the multi-channel auv3. Once I loaded that up, everything worked.
Also important for drawing MIDI on the timeline is to have an empty patch in Pure Acid, which you can have open by default in the standalone app's general settings.
This is a late reply but have you checked out DMT Cymatics? They've got a wide array of presets for sale on Gumroad, and I've bought a number of bundles there and been happy with them. They're quite reasonably priced too, imo.

*Not to be confused with Cymatics FM, which I have nothing against, but I've moved away from their stuff.
