iPad Mouse wheel back to front?

Well, I finally got around to trying 13 and I have to say adding a cheap bluetooth mouse is going to transform the iPad's usability. But Apple being Apple, the scroll wheel seems to work backwards. Many things seem configurable but I can't seem to see how to change this. Is it possible?

I bet you're coming from Windows?
Apple has always done it the other way around.
Under Windows, you're touching the scroll bar.
Under Mac, you're touching the actual content.

You can always hack the mouse of course (swap two pins on the scroll wheel encoder)

Yes, but it seems perverse not to make it configurable :|

Actually this is relatively recent as far as Apple is concerned. Maybe it was 10 years ago at most that they reversed it on Mac? I think it was around the time that the original Magic Mouse was released. On Mac at least it's configurable.
