Saving a patch in Alchemy Mobile?
Ok, so I've driven myself a little crazy with this.
I've changed a lot of parameters within a factory patch, xy pads, sliders etc, and am looking for a way to save it in its current state. Is this a case of not seeing the forest for the trees? Anybody have the answer? Or will AB2 eventually fill this role?
Thanks

No saving presets. Saving a "song" will recall all the parameters though. Not the most ideal solution, but it works...kinda.
And what's happened to export using audiocopy?
Where is it? Am I missing the obvious?
Thanks @ChrisG ....so does this mean if I wanted to use that patch in a different song, I would have to make a duplicate of that original song, delete all other info bar those patch parameters and then change the name and save as something else?![:/ :/](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
@Trueyorky it's not under share, the option above it is, copy. Not much of a dialogue box comes up ..but it is on the pasteboard.
Seems to be the only way for now (?). Maybe AB 2 and the new unreleased SDK will change all that, if Camel decides to implement it.
Yeah funny that. I've owned Alchemy for nearly 2 years and on the day AB announce state-saving in V2, I find out I can't save patch changes in Alchemy.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Haha!
@SpookyZoo yes, I used to audiocopy using 'copy' but I don't see that now and export under share offers SoundCloud, Mail, DropBox and iTunes. Do you have the pro-upgrade? Maybe I need to re-install :-(
Here's what I see...
OK, so I can audiocopy each track which is handy but I thought I used to copy the loop. Anyway, I do have a workaround creating an email export and deleting it. Thanks guys.
@synthandson cool, copy song would do it. I must pay attention ;-)
Ahh interesting. Just realised I'm on version 2.13, which has had 2 updates since. One of which states simpler menu design. So yeah, I have a different menu to you. I do have the pro upgrade but I'm sure it's probably the same menu you were using before. Not sure where they've hidden it now. I saw some problems re Alchemy's update and held off. Things I wasn't using like iOS7 and IAA etc.
@trueyorky How did your workaround work?
@SpookyZoo it's been pretty solid for me and I've obviously taken to the new menu. IAA probably needs more work but then it does for most apps.
I used to do this quite a bit before apps had so many export options, open in etc.,
1) export to yourself using email. 2) delete the draft email. 3) locate deleted email in trash and press the attached audio file. 4) now you can open in another app, AudioShare etc.,
Ah yeah...old school...(but smart!)![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
