Outstanding! A couple of naff ones, but you get those with EVERY keyboard made since day dot that had EP's on it!!

Man, I wish the crew at Gospel would turn their hands to doing a dedicated bass app!!!!

But for this one, 10/10 ....haha, one particular preset, to me, was worth the price of all the rest! Chorused Warmth (in the Dynos and Tines section), simply beautiful and very well balanced over the key range.

For those folks who haven't got it yet, do yourself a favour!!!

    So how would you guys rate the Rhodes sounds in this new Neo Soul app versus the previous 2 Neo Souls (I still play both) and other Rhodes apps like the one in BeatHawk or whoever else?

    Actually in Bassalacious 2 there are quite a few sampled acoustic and electric basses

    But how much better is it than version one sound wise? I’m happy with version one and have yet to even get thru all the sounds, to be honest the only thing I’d get it for is it has a much better patch browser, which is why I bought Bassalicious 2 having already bought BASSalicious 1, but I got it for the Bass sounds too. But sound wise Neo Soul Studios version one sounds great, how much better can an ep sound?

    No, I don't but almost bought pianet n hardware on gumtree for £350 last month but I've hesitated. A bit gutted tbh.

    Ilectric has a decent patch but no mechanical noises. :(

    hmmm, ok thanks I might check those out. I have Pure Synth and the basses, while ok, are nothing really special.

    Absolutely! But I can't use the samples in my own instruments, not to speak of distributing them publicly (although I bet Eric Persing hasn't asked the original instrument designers if he's allowed to sample them and sell the samples, who knows how many of them are still alive? 😁)

    I asked them about that a while back, although not definitive they asked me to send them an example of the project for them to check if there were enough degrees of separation ... usually devs just give a flat out no, at least they take it on an individual basis.

    We never know, I would create heavily cut-down versions anyway :)

    yep we never know... Eric sits right in the sweet spot between I have everything I've ever wanted could care less and do you know how much work I've put into this craft all these years!!! lol
