Mod wheel / pitch bend in KB1 in chord or scale modes?

I’m looking for a configurable midi keyboard app, kb1 seems to be the most powerful, however I’ve noticed that in all screenshots the chord and scale modes don’t have mod wheel or pb... is that an option? If not does anyone know of a chord-based input app that has mod wheel and pb?

I’ve got a ton, but none I’ve found had a mod wheel control. Best is Chordion but it’s a “where you touch” mod wheel hack, not a separate control...

  • Xequence AU Keys. Totally the best IMO.

Its got scales, totally configurable mod wheel, pitch bend, any CC you want. And you can set all of those up for expression on the keys themselves in several different modes.

KB-1 gets all the attention. I like it, but I far prefer the Xequence AU Keys and Pads apps.

It's completely configurable. (none, wheels, XY or strum)

KB-1 has been a little buggy for me of late.
If you don't need the chord functionality, perhaps Xequence AU is the better choice?

Interesting. Never say that thing. Just assumed they made the sequencer. Cheap too. Thx!

Be sure to thoroughly check out the options on for the sliders and how you can map them to key position.

Used to be you could use the motion sensors too, but iOS 13 broke that for AUs.

The AU pads app is really nice too. Each pad can have its own midi channel if you want, and it’s really easy to make, rearrange, and save pad maps.
