Looking for a lounge-based little speaker setup for iPad music noodling - any ideas?
In my bedroom I have my monitor speakers, my Mac, audio interface, hardware etc, and so it's my main hub of music production. However, I would love to do some stuff in the lounge that's not through headphones so I can hear what I'm doing in the room. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive speaker setup that could be placed on a mantlepiece or coffee table and sound 'good enough' for music noodling? Obvs this would have to be able to be connected to the iPad... I have a Zoom U44 so could mains out to it if necessary.
It would be great to have something that's relatively hassle free- a kinda inbetween thing that's not a full production environment, just something nice to noodle around and play my music through. A halfway house, if you like! Stereo sound would be good!

Iloud.
Yes, this...I love mine!
I use the Marshall bluetooth speakers for that (though I connect it via cable). I have been thinking of getting the even smaller one as they put out a lot more sound than they look able to.
iLoud
I got my iLoud many years ago, soon after it first launched. It’s still going strong, although the jack is a little loose now. If it died, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. It’s good for music, but also great paired with an iPad for watching movies.
