  • Tried this @mgmg4871, but I'm missing a step. Tried pasting a chord in from Cubasis using AudioPaste / AudioCopy, but the sample doesn't show up in the Drum Perfect sample list or any where else. What step(s) am I missing?

  • Did you try kit editor->tap sample that you want to set->sample list with AudioPaste button on top, press AudioPaste button->AudioCopy app (did you install it?) will let you choose sample from Cubasis, select and then it will show up in DP, select it by tapping.

Thanks, @Marinus! Yes, these are the steps that I've been using. But, I can't find the sample in the listing after performing these steps.

Edit: even after looking through entire list and using search.

@dj8: could you send me screenshots of each step? (Marinus at drumperfect dot nl)

  • Make sure the search filter isn't active

  • @PaulB, yes I tried searching w both the filter and by scrolling through. @Marinus, will send the screenshots, thanks.

  • @dj8 What type of file is it, and what size.

  • @mgmg4971, it's a .wav file, only 375 KB. Just 1 piano chord exported from Cubasis. I'm guessing that everyone can see the pasted file in the sample list as soon as it's pasted, even if list is not set to show all samples (I've tried both settings).

  • Did you have to rename the sample after pasting?

  • @PaulB, I never get that far. When I paste, I get confirmation that the file pasted but I don't see the file listed. It's seems to disappear.

Was wondering if I was looking in wrong place or needs to change directory, but for posts above, I think I'm looking in the correct location.

  • dj8 Are you tapping on audiopaste upper right after opening sample menu?

  • @mgmg4871, yes I :

    -tap the AudioPaste button.

-That opens AudioCopy app. I select the sample (I've tried copying from a few different apps, but have mostly tried from Cubasis.) This is in the AudioPaste screen in AudioCopy app.

-I get confirmation in AudioCopy that the sample was copied.

-I'm returned to Drum Perfect. But then…nothing. No sample shows up under the Select Sample and Close box…

Thinking I should delete and reinstall Drum Perfect...

  • Maybe the answer is to reinstall Audiocopy 2.0.

  • Ok, @mgmg4871, will try that first...

  • I tried reinstalling Audiocopy 2.0 and Drum Perfect, but I'm still not able to paste in samples.

I emailed screenshots of the steps I'm taking to @Marinus. Guessing that I'm missing a step somewhere along the way.

Why oh why in the heck does the App Store search function not find these things for me? I seem to be all over this nonsense today...

If the app isn't universal, you will need to toggle from iPhone to iPad, or vice versa, to see the app.

  • Toggle? Toggle what?

  • Top of the menu, you'll see ipad only. Tap that and switch to IPhone.

That's only available on iPad tho, Brains on an iPhone.
