Is Korg Module Pro worth it for the Gadgets?

Well it’s that time of year again and the big Korgathon sale is on.

Hoping some folks can share their thoughts on whether it’s still worth it to buy Module Pro for the 5 Gadgets? I do already own and use Ravenscroft and Beathawk with the relevant sound packs.

Thanks for your input!!

  • If you use gadget a lot I think it is... Nice Clav, Piano, Electric Piano, Organ, and synth gadgets added to your arsenal. None have a lot of presets but all sound good.

  • If you're an avid Gadget user, I would get it. I have all the IAPs in it and have used it in Gadget quite a lot in the past.

  • Thanks @Poppadocrock and @jwmmakerofmusic for your feedback!! Looks like I better get it before the sale ends 😎

  • Btw, I did end up getting Module, and I went for the Ivory American Concert D iap. This is the best acoustic piano on iOS imo. Better than Beathawk, and better than Ravenscroft. Just a very clear and musical piano experience!!

That’s exactly why I got Module, for the Ivory expansion. I bought a couple others but I mainly got it for the first Ivory expansion. I had the Ivory desktop app and it was the best piano sound I’ve ever heard in a plugin. I still have to get the newer Ivory expansion. I would have already got it if Module was an audio unit. I hope Korg gives all their apps the AUV3 treatment at some point like they did with Electribe Wave.

  • @marmakin Glad your happy with the purchase. I ultimately convinced myself awhile back when I figured I got 5 new gadgets to use when other IAP gadgets are $9.99-14.99, sale $6.99-9.99. Beside the great sounds, it actually breaks down to be quite reasonably priced. Especially on sale.
