1 Best instrument; Factory, (Shockwave close second)
2 Best effect; Pro L2, (ProQ 3 close second)
    3 Best update; BM3
4 Best value for money; ToneBoosters Reverb
5 Most innovative app; Endlesss Beta

PS. Biased of course simply by being ones I bought, ;)

  • As ‘best’ implies a single scaler value, it’s gotta be Poly2. Hands down.

    1) innovative ui and workflow approach that would not be the same outside iOS
    2) for me, it’s the app that caused me to eschew my disdain for sample based music making. I swore sampling was the work of the Devil. Thus it even changed my approach to my live hardware rig and caused me to buy a Strike Multipad and move the Nord drum 3p aside. So now I’m creating sounds on iPad and sampling them in that thing... yea... not directly a Poly2 thing, but if it wasn’t for the fact that Poly2 is so amazing in its capabilities and workflow and features, but it’s more sample based... I wouldn’t have made the switch.

So Poly2 was really my “Road to Damascus moment” thus it gets my vote.

I just got Poly2 a few weeks ago and it is certainty slated for deep diving.
