How The World Ends / @Daveypoo And Me
The first collab with the talented and multiversatile @Daveypoo. He sent the initial tracks, I returned with my orchestral mangling and a NOISE MPE lead line. He took it back and added a beautiful and spine chilling (for me, anyway) sci-fi lead line on top. I’m the softer wailing second lead. He built a very effective patch from the ground up using Shockwave and playing it using GeoShred as a controller.
He also added the narrative overlay and ominously persistent beat to my twin FutureDrummer tracks. I refined the narrative content, added another bass and followed his suggestions to a final mix. Dave is awesome to work with. He gives as good as he gets. I think we each gave the best parts of our musical conceptions to this. Hope it stirs you.
