Searching for good Nature Sounds Library but there is so much.....

Can anyone suggest a good Nature sound library, mainly calming nature sounds in good quality (good stereo, or even binaural).
I dont want to dig in youtube or the web and i am willing to pay for it.

  • Naturespace is amazing! It’s recorded in high def, it’s equally interesting for audiophiles 😎

Naturespace is great - however it's probably not licensed for sampling, just listening.

Yeah the BBC is like that. Frogs croaking is copyrighted.

  • Great find on the license-free Luftrum collection, sounds good. Thanks.

Ahh good point. I guess I didn’t take it as a request for sampling but rather just listening. But you’re right, this is a forum (mostly) about making music afterall! As a side note, I wish Naturespace would release some new recordings already haha.

  • Thank you for your suggestions so far.

  • To listen or use for a project?

Maaaan, tell me about it. Was so disappointed in that 4th of July recording where every 10 minutes a voice asking 'Where's Dylan?' gets through. Other than that, though, they've done no wrong. 'Sheltered' is still my go-to jam after all these years.

Yesss!!! Totally agree. That was the worst one out of 150+ recordings that are all flawless and beautiful. Sheltered is a great one! If I had to pick just one favorite I would say “Serpentine” because the distant train horn echo reminds me of the trains in the distance outside my window growing up. Magic.

Oh yeah, that's a great one. I could talk about these all night, just like favorite pop songs.

  • Serpentine is magic, one of my absolute favourites. I also really love Beneath The Dreaming Trees, Sunlight In The Tall Aspens, The Ascendancy Of The Redwoods, Secrets Of Sunlight, Radiance, Helios Falling, The Legend Of Nikola Tesla - and too many more to mention!

The luftrum one above is excellent but to use it commercially you are required to buy the charity version for $5. Every cent goes directly to a childrens charity. It's explained better at the website.
