Cubasis Stop Rec Multiple Takes??

Is there a way to keep cubasis from recording mutiple takes
(I think the manual refers them as “events”)
It gets annoying to have to delete these and they build up rather fast.
Much prefer it just records as one “event”.

Turn off looping before you record?
Ahh thx but thats part of my jamming
So, you want to loop, but have each recording pass wipe out the previous take so that only the last one is there?
If not, then using punch-in and punch-out under the metronome settings might be an answer. Or, just duplicating the pattern you want to loop over many times, then slicing out the best take maybe.
