I'm actually thinking about getting this pack being a sucker for classic beat-boxes.
(Got the pack, very nice indeed, for classic drum sounds).
Neither GarageBand nor Cubasis offers any tuning options for their classic drum-machines which is a shame...
I guess there's some round-robin going on considering there's plenty of samples in the pack too.
Any opinions on whether this pack is worthwhile?
Depends on if you need more sounds from those classic beat-boxes really.
Even though Cubasis (IAP) and GarageBand offer sounds from the boxes in question they do not offer any form of tuning which really brings the sounds to life.
When it comes to the sound quality both the Cubasis IAP and GarageBand sound more 'muddier'(in lack of a better description) so from me the pack gets thumbs up!
@Samu I have total trust in your opinions on things. I’m gonna pick it up now. Also. What’s your take on the Ambient IAP? I was gonna ask before the purchase. Seems to me that all the packs are way high quality? UVI in general does only quality I’m assuming.
I don’t have the Ambient pack.
@Morgman73 The Ambient pack with the Falcon 2 sounds are top notch by the way probably my favorite pack for building soundscapes. I hope UVI put more out from the Falcon 2 library. Doug done a live stream showing the Ambient pack off a few months back.
