Restoring Animoog presets?
I started with the iPhone version, bought a few factory expansions. Recently upgraded to the iPad version for my Mini only to find the packs purchased do not seem to move over. I have signed in to the Store and Restored Purchases but nothing happens. Anyone else run into this or have a solution?

The sad story about Animoog for iPhone and Animoog for iPad is that they are completely separate apps and any in app purchases do not transfer!
For this reason, I've only ever used the iPad app.
maybe some other users here have figured out how to transfer their purchases using iFunbox or another file management app.
That is a very bizarre policy! I will give iFunbox a try, thanks.
@JC_vt You can use Funbox, it works, to transfer any timbres, or presets from one to the other. Same file names, folder hierarchy, and extensions, plus you can from funbox create, or drop them organized in folders - that will appear as group in the preset view of either app. Make sure to grab the timbres - for instance in Animoog iPhone there is i remember 1 preset that for some bizarre reason isn't i the iPad version, i think it's called BellTrip or Bell something - that is, in the basic, original presets that come with the app when you download it for the first time - and the timbres it uses aren't in the iPad version as well (it's funny because its just this one, i think it was forgotten, otherwise all presets in iphone version are in the ipad one) in iFunbox you can without worrying grab all the timbres from one app and drop them into the other, Funbox will always not touch the file if it exists, and only add the ones that don't, which makes it very convenient to select all > copy > paste without bothering to look for individual files and overwriting existing files by mistake. And yes, any pack you buy in one you can transfer using this way. You can also create your own timbres from audio files, but they have to respect tight specifications (number of seconds, bits and Hz) that you can find on some websites fairly easily by googling custom timbres animoog, Discchord has it on his Blog.. if you still need more details tell me, i'll hook my ipad and refresh my memory (i tranfered all my packs last year, last ones i bought were the Grateful Dead Pack, when they came out, on the ipad, and all the ones before them, now on both apps).
^ homemade Animoog timbres need to be 16-bit mono, 44.1, and 0.371 seconds. All of this can be done to a sample within Audioshare, and snapping the bpm to 161.7 makes the timing easier.
Great synth, but this thing feels unfair for sure.
@firejan82 the ability to restore purchases is tied to a specific app. For better or for worse that's the way Apple built the system.
Animoog isn't a universal app so that's why you can't just restore purchases. At least Moog hasn't locked down the content in some obscured binary files so you can do this workaround.
I wish Animoog would let you paste in the samples as a Timbre so you could build your own preset pack easily from withinh the app
Maybe this is an Idea for Audioshare?... "Save as animoog timbre" would be a good option so you could paste the samples into Audioshare which would then fix the sample size, rate and time to use directly as a Timbre ... You would still need to move that using ifunbox from Audioshare to animoog folder
Are there any other places where we can download some new presets and timbres other than the ones mentioned on dischord and this forum ?
I would be interested in a little help here. I think Moog may have changed the file structure in the iPad version. The Discchord instructions reference a .data/sample structure which does not seem to exist on the iPad. I created such a structure with iFunbox but while the presets loaded fine, the associated samples were still missing….

Update: the Samples directory seems to be in the Assets folder now. However, iFunbox does not seem able to copy into that folder!
