navi commands on airpods when using carplay
when my iphone (5S with ios 12.4) is connected to airpods (gen. 2) and also connected to my car (Audi A4 with mmi plus) for using wired carplay, the music from the phone and supposedly also phone calls will still be routed to the airpods and not to the car audio system.
I want also the turn-by-turn navigation commands from the tomtom app to be routed to the airpods and not the car stereo system in that situation, ie. by possibly rerouting the audio to the phone call or the music channel.
Can the audiobus app or any other ios sound app do this for me?
I don't want my car passengers to be disturbed by the commands and warnings coming from the navi app. I will wear just one airpod so that there is no problem with hearing other sounds from outside the car. This is NOT illegal where I live!
I would be perfectly happy for everything to come out on the airpods when connected to carplay. I just want to use the display on the car because the navigation picture is larger.
