and start “auditioning” those chords by clicking on them to hear how they sound. As I find chords I like they can be added to my song. Can add sections and rests etc. and I can have Suggester play back the whole progression or just sections of it and then pause and rearrange as needed.

Super happy with all this. But what I was trying
    To explain above is:

It would be amazing if you could add another instrument “lane” next your current progression that would route to a different midi output and these could be played and built alongside each other so you can easily and immediately hear harmonies, call and response type parts..etc.

I realize there are tons of ways to come close to this ( xequence is pretty much it aside from getting the chords into the progression then into midi without extra steps )

But something about the workflow in Suggester really jives with me.

Does kilmper do anything like this?

Combining tonality and Suggester is something I’m going to try next. Should be great but just requires more setup and fiddling in AUM - which I don’t mind when recording but for getting raw ideas down would love just one app

yes **klimper ** can add "lanes/tracks" and routed to different apps
it has a chord palette, diff midi outs, and can HOST AU's within app.

    others
**Chord flow ** can do the same i.e diff midi outs and harmonize , but does not have a palette , so workflow might not appeal to you. But has sections, apple pencil required here

    if u like something creative

**Fugue machine ** can do the same for each playhead you route to different channel ( great starting presets here)

if like simple one note harmonies

Note suggester is now an AU, so you can load multiple suggesters and instead of chords you can input single notes

the ultimate app for me to explore harmonies for me is

    Chordmaps2

It cant playback chords , so will need another app like loopy or so

But you can also have a look at TONALY, which formerly was named "Ultimate circle of Fifths":

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tonaly-write-practice-music/id1242467844?l=en

Does it have midi-out or can it just play internal sounds? Is it auv3? I don’t really find this informations in the store ...

It’s not AUv3 and doesn’t have MIDI out. It’s a great app, but the omission of MIDI out is a big fail IMO. I want to write progressions with my instruments of choice, not be limited to internal sounds. Navichord is my go to.

@LowMoses Gah thanks for letting me know. I don’t want to change the name (after all, I had it first...) but the confusion is concerning.

Yea, I understand. Thought I’d tag you since it came up but realize now probably doesn’t help much of anything. Left a rating and review instead because I am getting lots of use from your great app.

You should consider Tune Maker, you can try it for free and see if the workflow corresponds to what you are looking for!

Ok, thanks for letting me know - I guess it’s the same for me and my workflow then ,,,

You know, I actually came across this earlier. Downloaded but haven’t had time to explore.

Based on just pics and description from the App Store it looks like it was catered to what I’m looking for.

Will update once I have the chance to poke around with it.

    Thanks!
