Pure Acid automatic pattern change in Nanostudio 2
Hi everyone! One question: is it possible to change the pattern of Pure Acid automatically via the sequencer of Nanostudio 2? For example: I have loaded PA as AU in NS2 and want to have the PA pattern change automatically at certain points in a song. Because of the pattern chain from PA cannot be saved in NS2, I would like to do this via the NS2 sequencer. Is there a way to do this?

i don't think Pure Acid allows switching patters from host app..
Pattern chains are stored with the preset in PA and pattern changes follow the location of NS2 sequencer. It’s already there.
You can change PA patterns via program change. The global program however can't be changed.
In NS2 there are Bass/Drum Chain Start and Bass/Drum Chain End parameters exposed that can be automated. Unfortunately they take 4 macro slots. So if you set Start to between 0 and 1 and End to between 4 and 5 it will loop patterns 1-4. I haven’t tried using automation with this yet. I don’t believe NS2 sends Program Change. @dendy ?
It doesn't send program changes, no. Cool idea for parameter automation though!
