Or AudioSnack is cool, you can save the file to Files

thank you, but not what im looking for > @animalelder said:
With Audiosnack, I can search a song title on YouTube, select the video I want, take only the audio, trim it down if needed, and save the file to be opened in another app.
So, I am now confused about what you are trying to do, could you explain a bit more?
is audiosnack's audio stereo or mono?
Just use the free Documents app > built in browser, go to a YouTube download site like https://ytmp3.cc or https://www.yt2mp3.ws, download the audio or video, save to Downloads folder or Files
https://www.google.com/search?q=youtube+to+mp3
Since iOS13, Screen Recording is done in stereo. I just use that, then use AudioStretch Lite to rip the audio from the video, then export the .m4a to AudioShare.
If you already have AudioShare, this method is free.
This is the only method I use to sample, anymore. Between Spotify and YouTube, I haven’t been unable to find anything I’ve searched for.
EDIT: AudioStretch Lite has a limit of 2 minutes of audio ripping per video. To get around it, I trim the video to the parts I want (or just record in segments) and rip whatever I want from that.
Check Tube AU for that task
