Changing your setup...
How often do you change your setup?
(Ipad, midi controllers, hardware, etc)
Comments
Too often. Literally doing it right now taking all afternoon to download all the BM3 packs again
yeah, this is the problem working in the "limitless" domains of software world. it leads to limitless tinkering and constantly rethinking everything. A blessing and a curse...
Haha i did it all day myself and ended up exactly where I started....insanity.
Constantly morphing and changing with no consistent setup.
Yeppp haha. I think I would have preferred just making some music today instead
Hardly ever. Only add a hardware synth every now and then.
LMAO, brilliant comment !!!
Yes, my studio has become one big morph.
Yeah. So I thought it would be smart buying controllers to augment hardware in a static setup; keyboard, drum-pad, aux controller with nobs.
But then you have to tinker with whatever is your SW setup to match the HW setup. Is it just BM3, or AUM, or BM3 controlling AUM, or both under AB3, so am I gonna need the drum pad, or just the keyboard, but I have to reconfigure my midi presets, oh shit that doesn't work... let me redo that preset, but that doesn't work with that song which was set up with the OTHER controller from a year ago, oh shit, what was the cc preset of this project? Oh shit, oh sheeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiittt!!!
Yup, all the time. Sometimes, it's part of the fun; other times, no.
Morphing here too, I'm always buying and selling gear. A few favorites stick around a long time, but usually I tend to focus on one thing for short but intense periods, then move on to something new.
😆....and today I turned on Gadget
Change is all that remains constant.
My condolences
Ahhh its love hate, today was all love. Btw nice avatar👌🏼
