Auria Pro question

Can’t find this anywhere, can I use the Fab Filter additions that come with the app outside of Auria in AUM etc?

No, the plugins in the Auria in-app store only work within Auria.

There are AUV3 versions of some of the FabFilter plugins available in the Apple App Store, those obviously work in any iOS host.

  • Thanks @richardyot ! Appreciate the feedback

  • I've a question regarding the FF plugins...

As a long-time user of AP, I've had all of the internal FF plugins. With the recent Xmas price drop, I splurged and got the 7-plugin bundle of AUV3 FF apps. Curious for users of both as to whether the AUV3 versions offer anything more than the internal AP ones?

(I'm currently staying away from using AP until the long-awaited update becomes available.)

If you are working in AP, the internal ones are more efficient but most people probably won’t run into situations where that has a huge impact.

I don’t much like Auria Pro as a DAW, but love the effects in it, so I just set it up as a send/return audio processor, sending audio from AUM to Auria through audiobus 3 , then back out through an Auria subgroup into a second channel in AUM via AB.

The only thing I know of that the Auria Pro versions have over AUV3 is that Auria allows you to take advantage of the sidechaining features. (AUV3 doesn’t have a way to send audio from one plugin to another from what I understand)
Other than that, they’re all pretty much identical to the desktop versions.

  • Thanks for the feedback.

Both are really superb... pity they’re not yet available on iOS.
