"Problems" with Pop sound Synthesizer with some presets

I've notice that there are some synth presets, most noticed recently in Sunrizer and Kauldron, that have a sharp attack or even noise (not a processor error) that ends up sounding like pops and crackles. With enough reverb this can be really annoying if you're trying to have it sit in the mix, or just not have that click pop crack sound.

I've tried moving off the attack some and adjust filters, but no result is too satisfactory and I don't know what else to try. I know each patch varies, especially among syths, but these two are basic subtractive synths.

Just looking for general ideas to try.

    Could you name a few examples for Kauldron? I don’t have Sunrizer.

    Depending on preset hard attack may come from fast amp envelope, filtersweep, fm, phase ... hard to tell without looking at anything specific.
