I've seen a few different cases like that.
I think someone should make an iPad case that includes a midi keyboard instead of the QWERTY keyboard. Would love a more compact way to carry both around during the day.
I remember there was a Kickstarter a while back but the product that came out Miselu C.24 didn't receive very favorable reviews and is now 5+ years old, so wouldn't likely fit form factor of recent iPad pros.

Last week I was trying to figure out why there are so few accessories for the side dock on the Pros. It seems like it could really be useful for hubs in interesting cases.
There’s only been one charger dock and it was discontinued. And two keyboards.

Mouse support is crap in IOS, keyboard support is minimal if at all in most apps, and "Turn your iPad in to a macbook is just straight up nonsense"
Save the money and go buy an old Macbook.
Perhaps so, but it's still in its nascency.
I'm not sure what apps you use, but I rely heavily on keyboard with my iPad, and for my use, it's been great.
I think you're missing the point of this product.
i’m liking it...i have a 2018 mac-mini as my home desktop. I will use this doqo for my 2018 ipad pro when the 2020 ipad pro gets released....no need to buy a macbook as I can keep upgrading ipads through my wireless carrier... touchscreen and wireless Internet to boot...mint!
