How could You join the beta?
@AmpifyxNovation : great to hear this, (especially since I literally contacted the company yesterday with this very feature request!) Apropos of that, I’m sure you must be aware of the absolutely stirling work done on this forum by @MrBlaschke and others in extracting MIDI from the apps Ableton als export files? This was a phenomenal workaround, but if we’re in feature request mode here, can I repeat my second request from my email to the company - actual honest to goodness direct MIDI out per synth/drum box from the app itself? Nothing ventured, nothing gained...
I figured that was the plan but ya never know! Can’t wait to try it out.
Hi everyone,
We are pleased to announce, automation for Groovebox is here!
We are excited to hear what you think, and would like to say thank you to everyone who took part in the beta testing. If you have any issues with bugs or any comments, please contact us directly at [email protected].
Kind regards,
Ampify
@AmpifyxNovation ThankYou ThankYou ThankYou!
It’s on sale?
You guys and gals rock!! Thanks for the update. Can’t wait to play. 😬👊🏼™️💕
Brilliant-superb..... all the superlatives you can think of - what a difference. It’s a free update as well. This is such a good update it’s almost surreal.
If you thought Groovebox was good before, it’s now better than twice as good as that.. at least.
Well done Ampify.
The automation is very well implemented. Almost an example of how to do it well. It makes this app much more interesting as you can make huge changes in how it sounds.
I really like Ampify apps. Launch pad is also amazing and Blocs wave very inspiring...
The only very simple think I miss with these apps is...MAKE IT AU !!! (and multi-out AU of course).
Ok now I can go back to my cup of tea. I have been enough a pain in the ass for today
Yeah same here. I actually would love the multi channel midi input more at this time. I don’t know how feasible it would be to make it AUv3.
I’ve just been recording seamless loops into Blocs Wave from a Digitakt, using Audiobus to sync the Digitakt with Ableton Link. Didn’t even have to press stop!
Looking forward to mixing in some groovebox.
@AmpifyxNovation This is great ! This instantly shifted Groovebox for me from category "not much useable for my workflow" into category "amazing tool for capturing song ideas" !!
Big thanks !!!
The implementation is very elegant I must say. Well done! But I really like seeing automation curves.
Have you checked the automation menu ?
@AmpifyxNovation This is dope. Nice work!
Awesome! Works beautifully! I love how automation in one scene has no effect on scenes that come after it...unlike Korg Gadget. In Gadget, wherever the automation stops, the settings stay there for the rest of the song/scenes, until automated again. I much prefer the Groovebox method.
Echo....... +1
Thanks so much Ampify! Please know that all of your 3 iOS apps are my go to workhorses for all of my song making creations. My biggest feature request is to have a way to import my samples and to export your samples into/ out of the magic sauce BOX. That would be a dream come true. Keep up the amazing work. Congrats on this major free update! Loyal customer forever!
Nope, not near my iPad right now. Hehe.
