Jamup for bass?
Hi all. Just looking thorough jamup expansion packs and seeing 2 essential packs for bass. Which one is more comprehensive for a straight clean, sexy and punchy tone for funk, dub and all more groovy styles? I'm really fussy about sound . Any bass players out there?

They're both well worth it. The first one gets you the b15, svt, GK 400rb, and swr redhead model, plus sansamp and mutron pedals. The second gives you the Gk 800rb (thought it would be pretty close to the 400rb but very different and useful sound), orange (very deep, if you're doing dub you would like this one), fender super bass (gritty, not very bassy, not supposed to be), and the acoustic 360, plus the octabass (awesome), bass muff, and brass master pedal models. I love both. And don't forget bias, which has great bass amps.
I'm happy that positive grid didn't forget bassists!
Oh, and the ola peace amp in the metal signature pack makes a cool bass amp for the right song too.
Cheers man. I just spotted bias for iphone on sale for £2.99 in the uk. I may try that first. Don't really mind iphone version if it saves me £10. Thanks
I bought for the iPhone also, why not at 4.99? Bias is amazing, you won't be sorry.
I've used Jamup and Bias for bass for the last few weeks for practice and performance. So far so good. Haven't really used Bias, other than to open all the amps up into JamUp.
Thx,
@supadom. Hey Wojtek. I play bass also and I have the first expansion pack. The B-15 and BlueLine are my favorites. The other Wojtek says to say hello.
Have both bass expansion packs and luv em. Only thing missing is a good Trace model - AmpKit have a perfect Trace sound if that's your thing.
Cheers guys, I still haven't had a chance to try bias with bass. If not happy ill get one of jamup expansions, they seem to be equally valuable.
@Ben hello back.
The AmpKit Ashdown is also a great bass emulation but if you're already heavily invested in Jam Up stay with it. I contacted AmpKit at Christmas and asked about IAA. They gave a vague we're looking at it reply.
Hi,
I recorded test two expansion bass packs
I use Bias for electric bass, Jamup for FX.
Speaking of which I haven't tried out a combo of Bias + Flux...
