CC#11 Expression on iSymphonic? Where?
Hi there,
I don't know if there is something missing here or if its cubasis 3 fault or iSymphonic fault or whatever... but on the app store it says clearly that isymphonic added this Expression CC to the app and well, so far so good nothing I've tried has worked as it should be.
On standalone mode my minilab keys can't control it and on AUM there is no CC#11 anywhere. It simply doesn't exist for iSymphonic. Same story on Cubasis 3. Even worse... when I use the pencil to draw some movements it doesn't do anything audibly to the instrument. Maybe I'm deaf but I swear I can't hear any difference at all on the sound.
So, am I doing something wrong here? Does anyone trying to control the CC expression on iSymphonic has been successful so far?

When I hook up something to it, and send it CC messages on #11, it is just controlling the Volume.
In AUM, connect the controller directly to the app. Don’t use the AU Midi Control parameters.
Set the controller to the correct Channel, and send something on CC#11. You should hear obvious fading up and down.
When I recorded some movement on CC#11 in Cubasis 2, it showed up as Track 1 volume data. I had iSymphonic AU on Track 1 in Cubasis 2, receiving midi on Virtual Midi Channel 1, and CC#11.
Volume? Is that expression CC#11? I thought it was a different thing. Oh boy...
All this time... hahaha
Thank you for your help. I was pissed for an update that didnt have what I was waiting for.
