Is iOS Music Production Becoming More Popular?
Just a theory based on not much evidence other than recent music app releases and sales making the top 10 overall paid apps (i.e. not just in the music category) in the UK App Store.
This rarely used to happen, if at all, but has occurred with almost every major release in the last 6 months and has just occurred again with Continua. Are music-making apps becoming less niche?

Yes. It's trending up and to the right. Someone told someone about the Barkfilter Tripleband Master Secret and now everyone knows that producing perfect mixes is trivial and expensive studios are not needed to get rich.
Music is going to get so good well all ascend into a state of permanent bliss this year.
Not a moment too soon, I say.
If BarkFilter makes it's way into an Apple Watch reality could invert: we'll be on the outside looking in at the luminous beings.
Or not. Ukuleles are also flying off the walls of stores and into the hands of defenseless children. So, that might prevent this coming to pass. Have you ever tried to tune an Ukulele?
Is there an Ukulele app?
Yes, I have and yes there is (quite a few actually)

I got a Uke last September and love playing it through Blackhole and Bark filter!
