Restoring App Purchases to your device
Sometime ago I had to restore my iPad Pro using a backup, all was fine until I found Cakewalks Z3TA+ didn’t re-install. I tried several methods, one using the old version of iTunes, nothing worked it appeared that Z3TA+ had been removed from the AppStore, as Cakewalk non longer existed as a developer.
A week or so ago, a post on the forum related the fact that the KRFT app and developer had also been sadly removed from the AppStore too. In another post another user of the forum stated that the KRFT app was still downloadable via iMazing on the desktop, this is indeed correct, along with every app I’ve ever purchased as far as I can tell, going way back to purchases on my humble iPad One.
So I did manage to re-install Z3TA+ to my iPad Pro.
So if you want to or can 32/64 bit limitations etc. re-install an app that no longer appears in your purchase history to a new or older device, it may be possible via iMazing.
