How do I get an MP3 into Audioshare on iPhone from Mac using Airdrop?
I'm trying to Airdrop an MP3 file from my Mac to my iPhone, but the 'open in' options don't have Audioshare in them. Added to that, nothing happens when I select the 'Files' app instead - the Files app doesn't open when I select the option and the MP3 file isn't anywhere in the Files app when I search for it.
All I want to do is Airdrop an MP3 into Audioshare. This doesn't seem like a Herculean task to me, but it doesn't seem to be possible without opening it in ANOTHER app and then exporting it to Audioshare, which seems nuts to me. Any ideas? (I tried it with a WAV version of the file, same issue.)

Change the file extension and try airdrop maybe?
What OS?
Does the capitalization of the extension make a difference for you as to what apps show up as options?
iOS 13.3. But I haven’t been seeing AudioShare in the list since going on to 13.
Even if I test record my voice directly into AudioShare on my iPad and try to share the file via Airdrop from there, there’s no Audioshare option on my iPhone and it won’t save to Files. Can someone else try this, please?
Works for me between 2019 iPad (iOS 13.3) , iPhone 6, iPad Air 1 (iOS 12.4.4).
So weird. I wonder what could be causing mine not to work like this. So you got the 'Open in Audioshare' option?
Save it to iCloud then pick it up on AudioShare from iCloud. No need to use AirDrop.
Yes - have you tried using the Files app and iCloud? I didn’t use them for a long time and a lot of people speak negatively about them but they’ve been working great for me. I have access to files in iCloud, on my iPad, AudioShare, and Dropbox. The thing aboutAirDrop is Bluetooth has to be on and that’s an extra drain on battery. Also, if a device goes to sleep it doesn’t show up.
There's a 'Files' option but it's not the 'Save to Files' one. It just says Files, but then doesn't actually open. Like it's an iOS system level bug or something. I usually save things to the Audioshare section of the Files app, because 'Open in Audioshare' seems to be something that's gone from pretty much everything.

Does anyone know if it is possible to create/modify the Sharesheet that presents the apps with whom to share? I'm constantly running up against apps that I use all the time (Snapseed, for example) that don't appear as a choice on the Share menu. Any insights??
