Midi cc speed limit filter auv3?

Hello!

I have a series of midi LFOs being piped out of AUM and sometimes they seem to produce too many cc messages and it overwhelms my DAW~ are there any midi processing AUV3s out there that can limit how many CCs pass through it per second? Almost like imposing a speed limit on the incoming midi or at least putting a cap on how many messages pass through per second?

@brambos ~ have you seen a mozaic patch capable of this?
