Drum session is on sale right now. I just bought it a couple days ago. Not Auv3 😢

It seems to me to be the closest option to Toontrack ez-drummer.

Ok I just bought it myself and feel like I just threw away ten bucks 😡 Is there no way to kill all that reverb? Even the jazz kits have the most un-natural reverb I’ve ever heard, and the rock kits are just sopping wet, is there a page I’m missing here or is all that reverb part of the samples?

I have not played tons with it. But my plan is to export midi to cubasis and use that midi to feed Beathawk really nice sounding acoustic drums.

I am not a fan of those random drums generator. I want to find the pattern and organize them the way I need. Also you can modify the pattern. That’s was a big plus for me. Trying to make a poor man EZ-drummer.

I own toonTrack superior drummer and I really wish they would come out with something on iOS.

  • Well over 2 years since I started this thread…has anything come on the market since then that is AUv3? Basically want EZ Drummer for iOS to use in Cubasis. Simple!

  • Audiolayer and drumdrops libraries works very well. Lots of round robin and velocity layers, great sounding. Or go the iconnectaudio route to send midi from ipad and get audio from your ez drummer. Or any other vst ;-)

  • Hi! I've made an app for my metal/rock jams. It's called Drumss. You can build a song from drum loops there. And it supports AUv3, so you can use it with AUM or Loopy Pro for advanced jamming.
