Bias 2 + celestion ir cabs screen recording demo.

I had never really spent much time with this app.
I’ve just worked on it the all morning.
I must say i’m really enthusiastic about what i’ve heard and the infinite possibilities.
I’ve created a lot of amps!
I rarely do this 😉.
These celestions sound really good!!
For me,bias is back at the top of the ios amp sims!
I’m curious to hear what gain stage will bring to the table.

That does sound good! I've been using the Celestion cabs for just over a year and I really like them. Currently my two favourite amp sims are BIAS with these Celestion cabs and Amplitube with the newest Fender and Marshall packs.

  • AWESOME sounds. Always wondered what you thought about the depth of this app with Celestions, as I’ve been very impressed with it. Now if only they find a way to make it AUv3 to future proof the IAA deprecation.

Great playing as always, and I hope I’ll be able to find those amps up on tone cloud!

  • @flo26 : very nice playing. Sometimes I like Bias quite a bit, but I do find that it is a little bit hyped in the upper mids in a way that I find fatiguing to my ears (particularly when using headphones). The Celestion IR cabs help a lot. I should revisit.

  • Although I enjoy bias amp 2, I still use amplitube with fender 2, british and mesa boogies everyday for almost everything. To my ears amplitube sounds better but just for a bit. Both apps are amazing and definetely my favourites apps. You know, not everyone using iPads are synth locos or beat makers... we guitar players do exists too. 😄

  • @flo26 Great tone, great playing, as always.. you seem to be able to pick the perfect licks to demo a particular amp/cab combo.. really listening to what that combo is capable of and using those strengths for all their worth.. instead of playing the same phrase with each combo. Your talents simply shine through.. it's a treat for the ears! And your Luke guitar is just an amazing tone machine.. super versatile..

I have yet to pickup the Celestion IR cabs inside of Bias.. this demo will probably change that. I have quite a few cab IRs that I use inside of iConvolver (thanks for that tip) and now IMPULSation.. Celestion, OwnHammer, ML Sound Lab, Seacow (free).. BUT it is nice to have it all inside one app (less window shuffling in AUM). - Question: Do you have ALL IAPs inside Bias 2?

I've been playing around with VStomp quite a bit lately.. some inspiring tones in there as well.. different than Bias but just as usable.. I like having options and look forward to Gain Stage as an additional tone shaper.. we do have some great tools on iOS already.. guitarists are always on an endless tone quest.. (hey what's that shiny new thing over there?) :D

Thanks for sharing your demo.. Bias should use that to sell their app..

I like BIAS and AmpliTube quite a bit, but I'm bummed there's no AUv3 solution for those (yet), so I continue to lean on Tonebridge (and now Gain Stage).
