Which amp sim is this?
Can you guess?
Comments
It sounds like an iPad Mini with an IAA Amp Sim in AudioBus 3 and no FX recording with MTS and I don't really have a clue...
Vstomp?
Very nice playing. It's not Geoshred by chance just to confuse with us all.
No,it’s not geoshred 😉.
Not vstomp.
The new Gain Stage from BlueMangoo?
@Faland ,no.
I’m waiting the next beta for a new try with gain stage.
Bias Amp into Jamup
Nice high gain tone and playing — Bias
Gain Stage is currently at its weakest with hi gain imho
OK, I'll go out on a limb and guess iFX Rack amp sim + overdrive or distortion..
@flo26 Knowing your abilities at being able to coax a myriad of tones from the simplest of apps.. my second guess would be the built-in Gain knob in AUM Kranked!
How about:
Yeah, I’m guessing BIAS AMP 2.
Nobody has the right answer 😉.
@flo26 iOS sim? VST? Outboard?
Pure sim sound or with other modifier
It's hard to tell...
So which ones haven't been mentioned 🤔:
Amp One ? PocketAmp ? Ampkit ? Garage Band ?... IFX Rack ?
Did you get a Kemper 😉
for a short moment I had the same idea... but actually... it's simply flo26
(who cares about gear anyway ?)
Flying Haggis?
Garageband?
Other than that, all I got is the volume button. I heard you can make sounds louder by that magical button.
It's AUM!
Based on what @blue_mangoo taught me I suspect @flo26 is using the internal FX in AUM and creating a tone shaper using the EQ and Saturator in AUM and no other apps. It was posited that that should be possible following the EQ options in multiple EQ's that a good Multi-band EQ offers for tone shaping. For distortion the saturator is need to give back that tube/amp sound.
It's AUM!
Amplitube Jimi Hendrix
-> @Gratouilli said:
It could be one of them.
Pure sim sound.
😉😉
Way,way,way too cmplicated for me.
I’m not a tech guy 😉.
I’ve played with amplitube for a few hours yesterday.
All i can say is it sounds fantastic.Demo to come.
I can't verify for now 'cause I'm away from my guitar, but if I had to keep only one suggestion, it would be Amp One.
On your recording, I can definitely hear the "digital flavour" that made me put Amp One in my too big "Euh... No... Money lost" folder 🙃...
Anyway, I don't know the other ones enough because I keep coming back to VStomp or Bias anytime I don't use my SansAmp GT2 directly in my Jam 96k.
Could you make a ‘How-To’ video sharing this technique. I’ve heard it mentioned before and I think It might benefit my current workflow
Are we making the mistake of thinking this is an IOS Amp Sim?
If not... OX Box, Kemper, Ho-Tone ("Bitches be bitches")?
Is it MIDI Guitar 2?
And the winner is @Gratouilli !
Amp one sounds great for modern sounds.
I see what you mean by digital sound,but in that context,i think it works great.
Wow. I also bought it and forgot to use it.
It's free and runs on my iPad 2 with IOS 9.
No AUv3 of course and no IAA. Maybe AudioBus... I should check. AB3 solves this type of plumbing problems.
Amp ONE is my go to. Clean, expressive sound. None of the marketing crap that comes with most "full-featured" guitar FX apps. I wish I could convince them to go AUv3.
