What Now: Instrumental Piano Pop

Another track done in NS2. The "Rich Strings" sound from Pure Synth Platinum took center stage here, also allowing me to get my full Bruce Hornsby on with a piano part.

Comments

  • Nice work. Another realistic sounding NS2 effort.

Can you provide more details on the Apps and NS2 instruments being used? Is that @MrBlaschke's downloadable piano.

Scaling is my biggest headache with any DAW so how many AUv3's in play is important.
Without audio you can't Freeze tracks unless you're triggering audio stems made in another DAW in Obsidian. I hope that's not the case.

  • @McD Thank you! I used the bs-16i Stereo Piano for the piano in this. It's very lightweight as an Auv3. It's my go-to in NS2 for bright piano sounds, though @MrBlaschke 's piano is now becoming my overall go-to piano in NS2.

I used Effectrix for the very first time in this project (for the hi-hat's in the verses), and other Auv3 synth plugins included Galileo 2, iSymphonic, SynthMaster Player, Pure Synth Platinum, Terra Synth and Shockwave. For effects I also used Perforator (on the Galileo 2 organ) and several instances of Kosmonaut and TB Reverb.

I'm using the original iPad Pro. No performance hiccups at all and no track freezing needed.

  • Well done @peanut_gallery
Enjoyed the listening and thanks for showing!
