Positive Grid Spark Amp

Anyone getting this? I pre-ordered already and looking forward to it.

Comments

  • So...has anyone gotten it? I'm asking as I have one on delivery as we speak. Bought it mainly as a practice amp for my son, but noticed I might be able to use it myself too for my iOS adventures. Anyone who has it?

  • I have it. Makes for a nice practice amp and is a full range (freq. range) unit with an aux I/P, so it could be useful with iOS projects as well. There are some good tones for guitar. I haven't played much with using it with a bass or acoustic, but it supports them as well. The convenience aspect is what I really like. I have my guitar plugged in and ready to go, so I find that I am playing much more these days. It could stand to have an EQ and looper, and the noise gate is very limited.

  • I would like to have one of these but Positive Grid don’t deliver in my country (Switzerland). What can I take as an alternative ?

  • I'm done giving Positive Grid money, so I went with a Yamaha THR30mkII. Has a rechargeable battery and supports the Line6 wireless transmitter. I love it.

There's also the Boss Katana Air. I have the Boss Waza Air headphones and they sound great, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Katana Air.

Thanks, good alternative. But in this case I should also consider the Yamaha THR30II that has a USB output. At the end, I want to record my guitar in AUM and I don’t know if there is an easy way to do that with the Boss...
