USB Audio Interface Recommendation for iOS/Mac (8-inputs)
I've been using Behringer umc404hd (4-in / 4-out) for a while. But currently, I have 6 instruments and it's not enough anymore.
I've been looking for an affordable upgrade so that I can use all of my analog synths and my guitar continuously on my iPad or Mac.
I don't understand the USB Audio Mixers. If they are getting the job done I'm open to the recommendations max around €250.

I have the M-Audio Air series and interested in upgrading from the 192/6 (2 in + midi) to the 192/14 (6 in + midi)
The series seems good, I do like the "look", and I do prefer top mounted controls.
Check it out.

Id14 here + Behringer Adat
How about ones that have MIDI and AUDIO via USB?
I just bought a Behringer XAir XR18 it should arrive in 4 days Mixer and interface
Got me a Zoom UAC-8 in the days when it was about half the price of what it's listed today and it works absolutely reliably on iOS. The only disadvantage is that the ADAT i/o is unavailable on iOS but 8 analog i/o channels plus MIDI i/o are more than enough for me.
