  • Thanks for the share. Found a micro genre which intrigues me thru this wormhole 👊🏼™️

  • It instilled me with a nice feeling of discovering something new. Like when I discovered witch house (but then some of the love faded as I noticed too many lazily produced tracks )

  • This one showed up as recommendation for me, but I didn't dive in.
Thanks for putting it in front of me again

  • Just going to say that the whole Hypnagogic Drift micro genre is right up my alley. Here’s another fun video...

anyone recall the moniker of that other relatively recent newly discovered ‘micro genre’, something to do with extreme bpm’s resulting in an interesting noise ? can’t remember if I originally read of it in here or elsewhere

    Thanks !

I think I may have unintentionally gone there whilst trying to get a grip on the ‘notes’ dial in Cality but got scared off pretty quick

  • This thread is excellent. I really like Nmesh. Reminds me of a mashup of Negativland, Girl Talk and the KLF's "Chill Out." Which I am always in the mood for.

I didn’t know much about the genre but the concept really resonates with me and helped ground some ideas I’ve had going around in my head for some audio visual projects I’ve been wanting to get out
