A fair few of the patches use the stereo filter
These patches are nicely done and sound great. I was going to run the samples through Auditor to convert to 16 bit (1/2 the file size) but there’s a bug in Auditor where batch processing doesn’t convert the bit rate. LOL! Dev is fixing it.
Here is my Live Stream for Richards NS2 Obsidian Patchs I did last night

Don't worry, I've already done the work including stereo-to-mono conversion of samples that had zero stereo width (mostly vocals).
@richardyot already has them
😎 thanks!
Thank you much Richard, I down loaded the presets last night and they sound great. I used them already in a song I started writing.
Thanks to @rs2000 for shrinking the files down (without losing quality)! The link in the description has been updated (but I'll post it again here) and it's down to 1.3Gb instead of 2.2Gb:

Also just confirm that stereo filters are actually in use on many of the presets (I decided on a case-by-case basis) so it's important to preserve the stereo samples (which of course rs2000 did).
Thanks guys! Nice job @richardyot these are great sounding presets just like your others!
@richardyot - fantastic presets Richard. Thanks very much indeed and very well done.
Patches like Junk Shop Harmonium, Lo-Fi Lead, Tinkercell, Northern Lights and Worn Out Tape are really great. Very inspiring.
Thanks!
A lovely and well crafted set of presets! I’ve never looked into Obsidian. So with sample imports, does it work like Mitosynth?
Don't know how works Mitosynth, but Obsidian has 3 oscillators and every one can be sampler (amongst other types like VA, PD, FM, Noise, Supersaw, Wavetable) supporting stereo samples and has up to 24 zones (with possible crossfades). You can combine sampler oscillator with other types oscillators in single patch´ or you can use all 3 oscillator slots as samplers where you can set them together in layer, or you can define velocity split...
It has some unique (at least on ios) features - you can modulate/automate sample start offset (cool for example for creating something like "fake timestretch" like it was made in old good trackes), loop start offset and loop length.
I has also pretty cool feature called "spetral looping" which creates loopable sound from any complex sample (in nutshell it's like passing sample through infinite reverb and then looping tail of this reverb - just it does it all automatically)
Thanks for the info. The detail is much appreciated. Sounds pretty deep and similar to Mitosynth in a way. Richard has done a very impressive job with it!

Still struggling to get these opened in NS2. User stupidity no doubt. I have 'sent the files' to the Library in NS2, but they don't show up in the User bank (have rebooted) should they be going elsewhere? Sorry for the duncity.
Try this solution from @dendy:
I downloaded it and saved to Files app - in files app i moved it to - On My iPad > Nanostudio 2 > Instruments > Obsidian > User ... unpacked..
Then in NS patch browser Manage > Refresh database. Quit NS and runnit again - done. It works.
Nice work @richardyot! I'm getting some great ambient textures with these freebie instruments.
Thanks much Mister Richard, will give it another run today.
Really nice guys!
Thanks!
Noticed that it created two user folders though of the same presets. Is this normal?
No, but you can probably delete the duplicates.
Yeah i did it worked. Beautiful sounds!☝️🙏😌
Just for the record; all good. And thank you. Good work.
In case anyone missed this free set of presets. Check it out. They are nice.
