Kind of off topic: Looping : Anyone have experience with Aeros from Singular Sound
Looping on ipad etc. comes up often so I think there's prob. people here that may have exposure to this thing:

It kinda seems a lot like something like Group The Loop but in dedicated hardware... The price is a bit "high" (it's like a high-end iPad + hardware controller price-wise), but having a well thought out/tested workflow and interface may be worth it...
so I'd love to read anything from anyone that does iPad looping that has tried this as an alternative.

I read some reviews that the customers were not that much satisfied. But I cannot give you any specific details.

I researched a bit on these new hardware looper machines and I will say GTL is better designed by far...
Said that I recently bought a RC505 and found that its Ver2.0 firmware has some nice features that makes it similar to GTL and better option than the Aeros or Headrush...

I've had the RC505 (twice actually) hoping I'd like it, because on paper it should do the trick, but I really don't like the sound out of it... Not sure if it's the fact it's 16bit or what, but my awesome sound gear just didn't sound as awesome coming out the other end... I suppose on a live PA no one would give a shit, and I may "loop" back around again to someday...

Yup agreed and since I was bored about the whole-around-setup I need to get any iOS loop working to start looping confortable I gave it a chance to rc505 but yes (hell yes) audio quality isn’t the best point (and looping approach to live gigging makes even worst as you know) but for simple gigs and some fun seems perfect now and I get it cheap (300€) so I’m ok.
Maybe Ehx has better solution for you and also has next song, previous song (in fact I suggested GTL dev implement this as binding after seen it at 98000) so as usual in the end it’s just a matter of compromise (we can bring Ableton on stage with Rme and that’s it but if you look at cost/risk/revenue... noway)
