how to- phantom powered mic into lighting plug

How can I use my phantom powered microphone with my iphone that only has a lighting port?

    For stationary use: any class compliant interface with micpre and phantom power will do.
    (quality of preamp and ad-converter defines price)
    For mobile use such items exist in tube shape, including battery and interface, pluggable into the mic socket. Search for 'voice over ios' will probably show some... (I forgot the brand name)

    yeah i’m looking for more of a mobile situation. what is this product your talking about?

    @eross sorry, my search advice above wasn't very useful...
    Here's a comparison of 4 such devices, a bit dated though (recordinghacks is a fairly solid source)

    ps: you may get along with 16bits as a condensor mic has a relatively high output, while dynamic mics almost require 24bits (unless shouted at them).
    Choice also depends on the mic you already have.
    If it's high quality, invest in a good adapter - otherwise an Apogee Mic might be a good alternative, even the 1st version. @flo26 did very nice recordings with that device.
