RoughRider3 Sidechain in Cubasis 3

Is there any way to do routing in Cubasis 3 similar to the new multi-out functionality in AUM? Hoping to use RoughRider3 for sidechaining. Also maybe some Scatterbrain.

    I think it’s only AUM that allows the AU multi out at the moment.

    You can make solid sidechaining effect also with Perforator ;-)

    Beatmaker 3 can sidechain its built-in compressor. Does anyone know if it also allows third-party sidechains?

    Ah true. I may need to run a comparison of Pumphouse and Perforator. Any opinions yourself?

    If BM3 ever goes Universal, that’ll change this whole conversation for me.

    FAC Envolver is also a great way to "fake" side chaining. Run your kick or whatever into Envolver, it spits out midi CC according to a customizable envelope. Run that to a volume control on the app or mixer channel you want to side chain. That's (very) basically what a compressor is doing - just split over two apps.

    (Audiophiles and music purists, don't dog-pile me. I know it isn't the "same" as what a compressor is doing, but can produce similar results.)
