The main issue is that as an AUv3, it seems that it only is reliable if there is only one instance. As an AU, there is only on track per instance unlike the standalone.

So you only have 1 of 4 tracks if ran as an AU? Such a strange limitation.

not so strange. it is meant for controlling other synths (it is midi only as an AU) and routing 1 to 1 is much more straightforward than multi-out (which might not have been a thing when it was published) our setting up filters. each instance meant to control a different synth.

I don't think it sold enough copies for the developer to find it worthwhile to keep putting resources into it.

It's a shame it wasn't more popular as it is a fun app and plug-in.

Oh I think I misunderstood. I thought they were saying when it’s loaded as an AU instrument you only have access to 1 of the 4.

As an AU it is just midi output and one shape. It can be a midi arpeggiator or sequencer.

Oh so it can’t be loading into an instrument slot period?

Are you asking if it can be loaded in an audio slot (even though the AU is midi only ) or if the AU can produce audio?

as an IAA it can be loaded in an instrument slot
(the freestanding and IAA version has its own 4 intruments (+ drum sequencer) w/the 4 sequencers (+ drum sequencer) onboard.

Ah that clears it up. I was under the impression you could also use it in an instrument slot. Thanks!

Much appreciated it. Kind of a bummer but it still seems like a pretty cool app.

It is very cool. Its synth is nice. I wish the apps had been popular enough for them to have released the synth as an AU

Same here. I always got the impression it was dialed popular but not popular enough I guess.

AB Forum is a small community, popular here doesn’t translate to meaningful sales.

Yeah I more meant popular among iOS producers, but I’m sure every dev has a different meaning of what that may be.
