mks-20 or RD1000 piano soundfonts
Hi, is there any soundfond (sf2, sfz, exs) with typical '80s Roland pianos?
I tried MKSensation, but it's not Auv3 nor IAA. Any other solution?
Regards

Pure Synth Platinum. Will give you what you want and much, much more.
Or get the BS-16i app and search the web for some free sound fonts.
MKSensation is IAA and Audiobus compatible (if you have that).
NOTE: Roland made a Electronic Piano with a really unique tone. I think it had physical hammers in it. But Roland also made dozens of Digital Workstations that had presets for all the classes E-Piano types.
Crudebtye provides a free Colossus Piano app and one of the IAP's is an great package of Electronic Pianos called the Colossus E-Pain Set for $20 with Rhodes, Roland EP, Whirly, Clavs.
It's very good and AUv3 with a lot of presets: Built-in FX (Reverb, Vibrato, Chorus, etc)
MIDI Play/Record feature.
The "E-Piano” sound set:
5 legendary E-Piano models (plus different model generations or configurations).
17 E-Piano sounds in total.
Optional pad sound.
Optional tremolo effect.
1.6 GB in size (SSD space).
Rarely mentioned here but the best "collection" of just EP types for my needs. Built-in FX, MIDI Play/Record.
I cannot see it as IAA on Auria....
I tried but I didn’t find any free one
Try the "Nice Keys" sf2 sound font in BS16i from this site:
https://sites.google.com/site/soundfonts4u/
Now I’ve checked I see it appears, and functions fine, as IAA in AUM, but not in Cubasis or Auria.
Thanks for helping. I think the only solution would be to sample the MKSensation piano2 (which is free). I cannot see it as IAA with any DAW, so I cannot use Synthjacker :-(
I would like an RD1000 or MKS20 sampled piano, not a similar one. I also own Pure Synth but I didn't find any MKS20 sample. There are a lot of Yamaha CPs but no Roland. I cannot find a list of piano names sampled in Colossus epiano.
The big sf2 Nice Keys crashed my bs16 :-( I tried many sizes, but the last one (over 700MBs) now killed BS16. I will have to connect to my Mac to remove it.
Try using the large sound font in Audio Evolution Mobile.
AEM only loads the selected preset, not the whole sound font.
Have you used bs-16i standalone?
AUv3 memory is limited.
I don’t have synthjacker but can you load it into AUM? If so you should be able to sample MKSensation that way.
Yes, standalone.
I yet haven't bought it.
If you can hold off a bit, our next big project is MKSensation Pro and it will be AUv3 with not only the MKS Stuff, but the P330 stuff as well.
I can hold it..... how long?
I was wondering: why not an IAP in Pure Synth?
Yeah this would be preferable to a whole new app, although I do like being able to have 12 different sounds all at the same time and separate levels for each in MKSensation.
...
Honestly I think Pure Synth is a wunderful app with great sounds. The only problems (but it's silly) is the total confusion on the patch names: some in capital letters, others not. I would buy some good IAP for it.
We thought about doing it for Pure Synth, but the 8-sounds and setup for MKSensation is going to be completely different from Pure Synth, so it's worth it to have it's own app for it.
Any news? Before or after the end of summer?
