Well that kind of did me in.
Where’s my wallet? 👊🏼™️
Whats the deal with the colored buttons, they are wonky as hell ?
@Turntablist Just look like thin keycaps on mechanical switches to me.
I'd love to try one out, but I'd never buy one. I started making "music" in high school using ST3, and then was really happy with FT2. That said, since I never learned a real DAW, it was extremely hard come the very early 2000s to try and switch to Cakewalk. Thankfully, I found Tracktion (and have used it since). I don't think I'd ever want to go back to using a tracker interface. However, I'd definitely do Renoise or this hardware before Reaper or Ableton, etc.
Damn you to heck @kobamoto
Will this siege on my bank account never end?
Ok. Maybe I can do this. If I can roll all my remaining birthdays into one...
til then it’ll have to be Renoise on my SP3.
At least it has a 90 min battery.
yeah the idea of the p tracker is growing on me
I received my tracker yesterday and it is beautiful! It is such a joy. I have been tracking for 25 years, starting with scream tracker, impulse tracker, sunvox and renoise. The GUI of the polyend felt so familiar, the muscle memory started kicking in within a few hours. I have very little energy and time to put in to my hobby’s at the end of the day. I have had a elektron samples for 6 months now and I am still fiddling with it. The polyend tracker just clicked within the first moments.
This device will certainly influence my iOS beatmaking.
Nice. Can't wait to hear what you do with this beautiful piece of kit
Can I just ask, did you pre-order it ?
Yes, I pre-ordered on day one.
I received a nice carrying case with it.
It is good to hear finally from an actual tracker user, how is the firmware, did they flesh it out in the end or does it still have gaping holes in resampling etc ?
I could not hear holes in the resampling. I tried resampling a selection, a whole pattern or a whole song.
The firmware feels stable, although I have not touched the granular, the wavetable synth and midi in/out yet.
I have been playing for about 8 hours in total with sample loading, resampling, sample editing, slicing and sequencing.
It definitly feels like a 1.0 version
They also have an impressive step sequencer to be released next month: https://polyend.com/seq-midi-sequencer/
Have they said anything about the reverb effect they've removed? There was apparently a rudimentary reverb during beta that hasn't made initial release and no one I know so far has said anything about this.
Surely a future Elektron-esque firmware update?
Looks like a re-issue. Previous version came out 2 years ago.
I guess it's not a feature anymore
No reverb? Has the world gone fucking mad?
More videos i'm watching, more i think this is lot better than Digitakt :-)

cool...
hm i'm afraid if i buy this one, i leave iOS world :-) It's like back to roots, i started with music using trackera in early '90s
still resisting but looks like my resistance ends in day when it will be available at thomann.de :-)))
Just tell Blip Interactive to get NS2 Audio Support, Lazy Chopping and a few other things done so you don't have to buy the PolyEnd
Can you use sd cards with ios to transfer to tracker?
this is mentioned in manual, so i believe that reverb is REALLY great :-)
another interesting stuff from mamual:
And fhis is REALLY cool ... btw in manual is mentioned you can load xFer Serum / Pigment / Ableton Live wavetables !!!
And this is cool too
Think it sums to mono even a stereo sample to card. So what is the mono input quality like compared to card?
I sampled via yellofier and played through a stereo sampler so I guess sample was mono as it was only on left side but then added a mono-stereo. Guess it sounded ok but it wasnt really a test.
Is using a mono to stereo sample as good as 2 mono samples in a DAW ( not at DAW stage myself )
Might buy as although I like making beats per step. Doubt I would with drum and bass but It would need to shine over manipulation over various ipad apps.
