Mixing volumes of simultaneously running apps

Is there a method or app available that enables easy volume adjustment of simultaneously running apps? AB or otherwise? For instance, can multiple input apps in audiobus be matched in volume output, other than opening the apps and making the adjustments there?

One use for me would be to jam with an electric guitar and ampsim to sessionband loops/backing tracks and matching the output of both apps quickly. Session band lacks a master volume control (AFAIK), and amplitube also lacks convenient master volume control short of going into a menu or adjusting gain/drive in addition to just output level. But I can imagine there are plenty other uses that would benefit of such functionality.

  • I'm interested in this too.

  • If all the apps support midi mapping, you could use a midi app as the mixing board. If not, you could have a DAW in the AB O/P slot and adjust in the DAWs mixer.

  • You could run them all through a DAW app....

  • What DAW apps support this? I have tried it in garageband, as that's the only AB DAW I own now, but couldn't get it to work. Before spending unnecessary cash....

  • Since you can't put GB in the OP slot, that wouldn't work. Most all of the others would...MT DAW, Multitrack Studio, BeatMaker 2, Meteor, Cubasis, and Auria would all work. They all have pros and cons and there's a broad range of price differences. Also, there are some non-DAW apps that would work, such as Loopy.
