The timespan above is whack. It takes longer than a year to create a DAW. Remember how long it took for Bitwig to come out.
Good distraction from their self-inflicted recent bad publicity to toss that out now though. I’m also guessing that it’ll be some kind of a tie-in to the pricy Wing or as some kind of leverage to sell other hardware. Despite my crack earlier about “generosity,” I harbor no illusions that they’re doing this just to be sweeties.
They didn’t say for whom it would be free now did they?
