Is there an app for live solo performances, where it is possible to control multitracks with an external Midi controller?
Ex. For a DJ Sax, perform the dynamics of the music already in loop tracks, activating and deactivating instruments with a Midi pedal while doing a sax solo. (LP-5 is almost that).

    Not one of the looperados here but shouldn’t every looper app be able to do this? E.g. Quantiloop, L7 and of course Loopy.

    yes, I’ve been using Loopy for years, but if you have an app that already offers a music library, the better.

    Ah, I see. Medly or RemixLive perhaps? I have Blocs Wave and Launchpad but they lack external Midi control.

    This I don’t know. @ronaldobc was asking for apps with a library. Was hoping that others could provide some insight.

    Honestly im not a user of all these apps, but in my quest for an Ableton alike workflow I had a look at quite a few. During these studies I found Grouptheloop quite great, but that's just theory. If it would also do MIDI looping, I would have bought it. Well there is also Zenbeats, but it has quite a silly UI and does not integrate with AUM.

    Well, you can control these apps with a novation Launchpad or LaunchControl. But that's limited to clip and FX launching.
