Layr - the app that was never going to go on sale - is on sale for one week

    [Edit: CORRECTION starting April 3rd]

Where is the forthcoming sale mentioned online?

The Mellotronics Streetly Pro is an amazing deal. So glad I dragged my feet because just a few weeks back it was in my cart so to speak. Does it repeat some of the stuff that as in their older 3000 version? Yes. But they include a GB of sounds on this pro version, everything from the OG mellotron tapes to the Harry Chamberlain stuff. I am blown away ...at $25 it was theft but at $13 it’s highway robbery.

I have M3000 ultimate, which they stopped supporting right after my purchase. Is this the same content? And is there any improvement in the way you navigate between instruments? I find it pretty annoying that there doesn’t seem to be a way to scroll down a list
of instruments, instead you have to press forward and backward arrows.
No au3 is a shame. Don’t know how long they’ll support this one and if they’re going to make a new app with au3 support instead of adding it to this one...

  • They’ve said several times that AU is top priority

Some sales, some already mentioned, I got that Talker App Free awhile back and its pretty cool you can make it say anything in like 60-70 languages and voices. Then send to audioshare.

Thanks for the tip, I’m enjoying this app (instant Boards of Canada number stations source material!)

How do you bounce a phrase out to AudioShare?

Morevox has a free IR pack that they just announced. It has many things that can be used in auria (reverbs and drumagog) if you are so inclined:

    http://www.morevox.com/web/freebbie.html

There’s also some cool stuff for drum xchanger and logic on desktop in the pack.

  • Thanks but the link is bad - I think you are missing an "L" at the end...

How do I get the arpeggionome iPhone pro in-app?

Hey, sorry for the confusion. The Pro Upgrade IAP hasn't been used by the app for years now, it was disabled when the base price changed from free. I just removed it officially from the store today after all this time 😆🤦🏻‍♂️. Anyway, just to be clear, the free app download is the full app, there's no missing functionality.

@Alexandernaut since you‘re here ..... any news about your newest masterpiece? 🙂

You can scroll through instruments on streetlytron Pro.

I use it through idam into logic, it’s worked well for that.

  • REMINDER: IK Multimedia's Hammond B-3X app was introduced at a discounted price of $100. (I know... get over it. It's a collection of everything you need to send like any Hammond recording ever made. It has all the Leslie speakers... all the stomp-box FX'es included).

The price is expected to go up VERY soon. I thought it was 4/1 but it might be 4/30. It's selling well with the the folks that play the real deal. iPad only.

  • Few more sales... $1 off each app

All 3 are really great apps.

  • Sorry to sound like a Grinch
Was hoping for more than a dollar off -----but I understand the Dev's have worked hard and have mouths to feed as well
Oh well, my bank account has taken a hit, and will just have to play with the last 3 apps I brought

  • @Nicebutfun Agreed, but I guess something is better than nothing. But Poison is usually $9.99 so I guess that’s not such a deal.

I really like the Nori Ubukata sounds that I have which include art rock basics and sounds of the world. The former has awesome King Crimson/mellotron sounds and very specific Genesis and Floyd sounds. The latter has some really great samples of acoustic world instruments.

I like Big Tone’s stuff too.

pretty sure those are no deals but rather "price corrections" cause the dev increased the price $1 to high after the last sale.

  • Just noticed there's another new sound pack available for GarageBand too :)
It's called Vision and Verse (Classic Hip Hop Pack)

Nice dirty drums to play with and some nice sound effects and a 3-4 hundred new loops :)

I wonder when the desktop GarageBand and Logic get updates as the new sound packs is not available on the desktop...
