[audiolayer] how to pitchshift

Hi have a single note sample, but when I create an instrument I don’t want to change the speed of the sample. I want to pitch shift it, maintaining the same speed. What is the option? I can’t understand how to do it..

  • I don't have it, but from what I've read, it doesn't timestretch.

  • Correct, no timestretch in AL.

  • Long winded but maybe idea:

Could you use BM3 to time stretch the sample and then make new samples from that for each key needed?

This is exactly what I do. It’s a pain but it works.

  • Audiolayer with no time stretch is really limiting and irritating. Thanks to all.
