Any reason to buy the iRig Pro I/O over the Zoom U-24?
The Zoom is a good bit cheaper (here in the US, at least). Has more going on. Is also battery powered (a criteria I have right now). So why choose iRig? Is the MIDI latency better? Trying to find a reason not to buy the cheaper Zoom but can't think of one. I'll be using this with my iPhone 11.

You’ll need a lightning to usb camera adapter for the zoom. That said, i’ve got one (a zoom U24). It’s great for me, ended a long search for form factor and function (battery or 5v usb power, guitar/mic input, line + headphone out along with 5pin midi in/out). Latency has never been an issue (with this interface that is).
The Zoom U-24 looks comparable to the much more expensive iRig Pro DUO I/O
Thanks guys the Zoom U24 looks very promising! I forgot to mention I need MIDI so the Evo 4 is not only too minimalist for my purposes it has no MIDI.
The big question...and I don’t know the answer is how the mic pres compare in the two.
